D'Undrik Davis also known by his stage name “Sleepy 2 Woke” is an American Author, Poet & Producer raised on the south side of Memphis, TN. Like most of his musical influences (Ice Cube, Andre 3k, J Cole) Sleepy found his love for music through poetry & spoken word. Most of his early writings were centered around uplifting the black culture & speaking light on hot topics most people were too scared to speak on. His unorthodox “rap” like style of poetry immediately grabbed the attention of anybody close of enough to listen & he quickly gained a name for himself as one of the most talented and upbeat poets in Memphis, TN performing at high schools, churches & open mics all throughout the city. 

He graduated from High School in 2015 & in 2020 received his certification in Music Production from Full Sail University! He signed himself to his independent publishing house in 2019 and is now the Founder/CEO of his very own artist development group "Slept On Society". While most people pride him on his ability to create and write music in almost any genre, he takes most pride in helping people learn the business side of the music industry as well. For now, he’s underrated or as he likes to call it "slept on" but at this rate he won’t be staying that way for long!
